3. Pick an error correction level. Higher levels survive more damage and scuffing, at the cost of a denser code.
4. Download it as a PNG for documents and social posts, or an SVG if it needs to scale to a poster or a sign.

Nothing you type leaves your device

The code is generated in your browser using JavaScript. Your Wi-Fi password, links and text are never sent to a server, because there is no server involved — which also means the tool keeps working if you go offline after the page loads.

Common questions

Do these QR codes expire?

No. The code is a static image that encodes your content directly, so there is no link to a service that could go away. It will scan for as long as the destination it points to exists.

Can I use them commercially?

Yes. QR codes generated here are yours to use for anything, including printed materials, packaging and signage. There is no attribution requirement and no licence fee.

Which error correction level should I pick?

Medium suits almost everything. Choose a higher level if the code will be printed small, placed somewhere it may get scratched or wet, or if you plan to put a logo over the centre — the extra redundancy is what lets it still scan.

Why does my code look denser after I add more text?

A QR code grows in fixed steps as content grows. More characters means a higher version with more modules packed into the same area, so print it larger to keep it scannable. Thai and other non-Latin text uses roughly three times the capacity of plain English.

PNG or SVG?

PNG for anything on screen or in a document. SVG when it needs to be resized — it stays perfectly sharp at any size, which matters for posters, banners and anything going to a print shop.
