By using Toolora you agree to what follows. If you do not, please do not use the site.

Using the tools

The tools here are free. You do not need an account, and there are no usage limits.

What you make is yours. QR codes and anything else you generate belong to you. Use them for whatever you like, including selling things — print, packaging, signage, products. No credit required, no licence fee.

What we ask of you

Do not use Toolora to:

• create material that is illegal where you are, or that helps someone break the law
• create QR codes or links meant to deceive people — tricking them into handing over passwords or card details, pretending to be another organisation, or hiding a destination they would not visit if they knew
• spread viruses or harmful programs, or link to them
• attempt to disrupt the site or the people using it

You are responsible for what you put in and what you do with what comes out. Since we never see your input, we cannot check it for you — the judgement is yours.

No warranty

Toolora is provided as-is. We work to keep the tools correct and available, but we do not guarantee that they will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose.

This matters most for output you plan to print. Always scan a QR code with a real device before committing it to anything expensive — a print run, signage, packaging. A code that scans on your phone will scan in the world; one you never tested might not, and reprinting is on you.

If something goes wrong

If using Toolora costs you something — a wasted print run, lost data, a disrupted business — we are not able to compensate you. These are free tools and we have no visibility into what you use them for.

That said, consumer protection law in some countries grants rights that cannot be signed away. Whatever these terms say, those rights of yours remain intact.

The site itself

The Toolora name, design, writing and code are ours — which is separate from the output you generate, and that is yours. Please do not copy the site wholesale and pass it off as your own.

Availability and changes

We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of Toolora, including individual tools, at any time and without notice. Because nothing you make is stored here, there is nothing of yours to lose if a tool goes away — but download anything you need to keep.

These terms may change. Material changes will be reflected in the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.
